Steps to Becoming an Accredited Registrar

STEP 1

The first step to become accredited is to identify your current status.

Are you currently a private non-accredited registrar (see Step 2A) OR an individual who would like to form a new business and become an accredited registrar (see Step 2B)?

STEP 2A

As an active registrar, you will have your certification system in place and the methods to maintain your client lists, schedule for audits (certification and surveillance), bank accounts, licenses, insurances, business type (S-Corp, C-Corp, LLC, etc.), sales team, and your contract or employed auditors.

You may not currently have the requirements manual, procedures, and forms to be accredited to ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 (Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems). Those are items that you will need.

STEP 2B

As an entrepreneur who wants to have a potentially high-income business but do not know where to get started, we can explain the many steps needed to take the big leap and start their own registrar.
